To celebrate both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, Indictus Project explores the experiences of children and caregivers through rediscovered art songs and piano music by underrepresented composers from a wide range of eras! Find your heart tickled, entertained and touched by the artistry of Grammy-winning bass-baritone Dashon Burton, acclaimed soprano Elissa Alvarez, and sought-after collaborative pianist Eunmi Ko. You will hear rare gems by Cecile Chaminade, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Pauline Viardot, Florence Price, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Carrie Jacobs-Bond and others, including many modern-day premieres! All proceeds go towards the mission of Indictus Project, which is to amplify the voices and legacies of womxn, POC, LGBTQ+, religious and ethnic minorities, and other underrepresented and marginalized composers and performers throughout history.
